Arrived in Pamplona. Took a taxi to the Cathedral, which is dedicated to the Blessed Mother. We prayed...got our credentials stamped for the first time....and away we go! Buen Camino!
Today is Saint Kevin day.Saint Kevin is the patron of blackbirds and Ireland. He lived as a hermit for seven years in a cave until he gathered a group of students which led him to found the monastery at Glendalough. Once the monastery was well-established he withdrew as a hermit again for four years. Saint Kevin has many legends surrounding him involving animals including a story told of him in which a wolf produced milk after being chastised for killing a doe he had called to produce milk.
