Visits
On the quiet day, I took the time to visit the Tower of Hercules, a first century Roman lighthouse that is still operational. In the stroll around the Old Town, I discovered a Poor Clare monastery with Perpetual Adoration and a cookie business.

A Coruna
Made the last walk today and landed in A Coruna, the beginning of the Camino Ingles. Another beautiful day. This is a gorgeous coastal city where many begin their Walk and I have finished this one at the Church of St. James.

Walking back
After a lovely rest day yesterday in Santiago, I went by the Cathedral to say farewell before walking the 16km to Sigueiro. Taking the time this week to walk the Camino Ingles up to A Coruna and then flying home.

O Pedrouzo
Getting close, with arriving in Santiago on the agenda for tomorrow. The Camino is wider here... and fuller. But I did catch a brief break this afternoon. :)

Another gorgeous day for Walking the 14km to Arzua. Stopped in a couple of churches that were open this time. Paused by a couple of streams. And enjoyed following after the many pilgrims along the Way.

Melide
A lovely 24km walk into Melide today... the weather and the countryside couldn't have been more gorgeous. Here the Camino Primitivo joins the Camino Frances so we will see how many more pilgrims join in tomorrow.

O Burgo
Today's saunter was a gentle 22km from Lugo to Burgo do Negral. Nice countryside with the Way alternating between the road and earthen path. There are many more pilgrims along the Way this year than in 2018. I mostly walk alone, but there are dozens of folks around.

Rest Day
Spent the day in Lugo to rest. Two-thirds of the way to Santiago. The big hills are behind us. Hoping to be in Santiago for the anniversary.

Lugo
Made the 16km walk into Lugo. The bustling city is 100km from Santiago, but goes back to ancient times. The Roman walls remain intact.

Just a short 14km saunter today to Vilar de Cas. Sunny skies have returned with temperatures in the 50s. Coming down out of the mountains and heading to Lugo tomorrow.

Cadavo
A lovely 24km walk today to O Cadavo. It started out cool and cloudy, then it rained for a bit, and ended up warm and sunny. Lots of lovely vistas, and a little bit of history as we passed a dolmen and a medieval pilgrim refuge.
