Certifiable
I was able to go by the Pilgrim Office today and receive my Compostella for the pilgrimage. Though the procedures have changed because of the pandemic, it never gets old to be certifiable.

Santiago
We made it safely into Santiago de Compestella this afternoon. Another beautiful fall day for walking. It is good to be back for a visit with St. James.

We made it over to O Pedrouzo today. Only 20km to Santiago to go. The overcast skies this morning opened up on us this afternoon with a soft rain.

Ribadiso
A lovely day with several intermittent showers as we walked 25km to Ribadiso. It is a wonderful grace to walk and pray for all my sheep.

Upgrade
We made it safely 25km today to Palas de Rei. Though there had been lots of talk of rain today, there was only a sprinkle in the morning. Otherwise it was another beautiful day.

Portomarin
Another beautiful day on the Camino for the 22 km from Sarria to Portomarin. There are lots of fruit trees along the way bearing apples and pears. Blackberries and grapes are on the vine. To encourage me to partake, as I walked under one apple tree, an apple fell off and hit me. :) The Camino does provide!

Sarria
Another beautiful day for the walk through the forest to the town of Sarria. We are staying in the albergue Obradoiro which is also the studio for Arte-San, who carved a St. Matthew icon for the parish in 2017.

Bright, shiny day
We had a gorgeous day for the walk to Triacastela. It was a cool 40 degrees this morning when we awoke, and warmed into the 70s under a cloudless blue sky.
